BOARD USE AND CARE

Standard Finish

Unless otherwise noted, all of our boards arrive fully seasoned and ready to use.   Before leaving our shop, boards are oiled with a food safe mineral oil, then a coat of of our board finishing wax. 

Maintaining your Board

Everyday maintenance is simple:  Your board should only need to be hand washed with soap and warm water.  Be sure to wipe away excess water with a towel before storage.


Every now and then, you may need to recondition your boards.  For best results, simply apply a thin layer of food safe mineral oil or board conditioner, let it sit for at least 30 minutes before wiping/polishing with a cloth. 


DO NOT USE IN DISHWASHER - DAMAGE MAY RESULT!

Shipping

Our standard shipping method is USPS Priority mail flat rate and we try to get items in the mail within three business days of all items being ready to ship.  The cost for shipping is $14.95 is for United States deliveries.  This rate may vary for custom shipments or shipments over 18".


We try our best to accommodate each order.  Additional shipping methods are available upon request.

Dimensions

Since our woodworking projects are also learning opportunities, the dimensions listed for each project  are approximate and may be slightly larger or smaller.  We try to round down our published dimensions to the nearest 0.5".
